Alan Baker

Chief Executive Officer

Alan Baker is CEO for Forsa Energy.  Prior to Forsa Energy he co-founded 2020 Renewables which was focused on the development, construction and operation of onshore wind projects in the UK, he was Managing Director from 2010 to 2015. Prior to his work with 2020 Renewables, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Airtricity (Scotland).

Alan has worked in the power and infrastructure sectors for over 35 years, spending nine years with Scottish Power, where he played a key role in the development and construction of major power infrastructure, ranging from gas fired generating power stations to gas storage installations, and latterly wind farm projects. His early career included a period with W.S. Atkins and Morrison Construction developing major defence, rail and water projects. Alan graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Glasgow and is a Chartered Engineer.  He also the co-founder and Director of Ardgowan Distillery Company Limited and Shocking Fresh Limited (a hydroponics development business).  In addition to his role at Forsa Energy, he is Non-Executive Director and adviser to Renewco Power Limited.
